Our Beliefs

Gospel Certainty

God’s promise of salvation in Christ Jesus is fully trustworthy as the anchor for our soul.

Hebrews 6:19-20
“We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure. It enters the inner sanctuary behind the curtain, where our forerunner, Jesus, has entered on our behalf. He has become a high priest forever, in the order of Melchizedek.”

Gospel Proclamation

We are not ashamed of the Cross but will boldly communicate its power to save and change lives.

1 Corinthians 2:4-5
“My message and my preaching were not with wise and persuasive words, but with a demonstration of the Spirit’s power, so that your faith might not rest on human wisdom, but on God’s power.”

Gospel Living

Christ has called us into his family to live lives that please God, build others up and bear each other’s burden while looking forward to Christ’s return.

Mark 10:29-30
”“Truly I tell you,” Jesus replied, “no one who has left home or brothers or sisters or mother or father or children or fields for me and the gospel will fail to receive a hundred times as much in this present age: homes, brothers, sisters, mothers, children and fields—along with persecutions—and in the age to come eternal life.

Gospel Influence

As salt and light in our community, we proclaim Jesus Christ and glorify God by our love and service to our neighbours.

1 Peter 2:12
“Live such good lives among the pagans that, though they accuse you of doing wrong, they may see your good deeds and glorify God on the day he visits us.”
